Lydia Adit Atubo

Ms. Atubo is an associate with the firm and the focus of her practice is in the company law department. She handles and oversees all the firm’s corporate clients company due diligences, incorporation of companies and preparation and filing of the company documentation with the registrar of companies.

Lydia has extensive experience in counseling companies and their boards on a variety of corporate governance issues. She works with the firm’s clients to develop real and actionable crisis management and communications plans.

She has launched successful corporate and social responsibility programs for many of the firm’s corporate clients. She regularly advises boards on what they should do—and what they should avoid—in fulfilling their duties both as directors and shareholders.

Previously she practiced with Lex Uganda Advocates and Solicitors and Omara Atubo & Co. Advocates. She holds an LLB (Hons) from Uganda Christian University, Mukono- Uganda, a Postgraduate diploma in Legal practice and is currently pursuing a course with the International institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) at ILI-ACLE.
